Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Selena Quintanilla’s Amor Prohibido on Amazon
During the month of March, Amazon Music will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of Selena Quintanilla’s Amor ProhibÃdo, one of the best-selling Latin music albums of all time. To celebrate, Selena fans are encouraged to listen to the Rediscover Selena playlist, which now features the remastered version of Amor ProhibÃdo, as well as Kali Uchis' 2021 Amazon Original covering Si Una Vez in homage. Amazon Music’s Rediscover playlists take listeners on a career-spanning journey of musical discovery, or re-discovery, through the featured artist’s entire body of work.
To make it simple for Amazon Music users to enjoy Selena’s Rediscover playlist, they can simply ask their Alexa-enabled devices to play their favorite Selena songs. Fans will be able to ask Alexa the following utterances: “Alexa, reproduce Selena en Amazon Music,” “Alexa pon lo mejor de Selena,” “Alexa, cuál es tu canción favorita de Selena?” or “Alexa, quién es Selena?”
