WHAT'S THE MOVIE ABOUT?
It's a simple, cool story. There's an author named Ben Mears who comes back to his childhood town. He's looking for a little 'go go' juice for his next book. He meets this hot, cool girl named Susan...just as they're getting to know each other - - and start fooling around...BAM!! Freaking Vampires!! 😎 The folks in his home town are getting turned into blood-sucking, children of the night VAMPIRES!!! Ben, Susan and a couple of other folks are determined to stop the madness.
WHAT DID I THINK OF THE MOVIE?
I enjoyed it a lot. I thought it was a really good vamp movie. I thought it had some fun jumps and scares. There were even some freaky moments.
The first time I watched it - I made the mistake by watching it late at night...while everyone was sleeping. I didn't have it turned up a lot - - watching again during the day while the kids were at school was a way better watch for me.
If you're a vampire or horror fan - SALEM'S LOT is worth the watch. Director Gary Dauberman did a really good job.
If you're into watching trailers before you watch a movie...here ya go...BUT...it does show a lot.
