The other day I started A QUIET PLACE: DAY ONE with myboys. I really thought they would be into it because of all the alien creatures - plus - they remembered all the ads for it. As soon as it got started...it began to rain outside - - my 10yo then says to me...
"Dad. You can pause it. We're going to go outside for a little bit."
I then said...
"Cool. Y'all can have fun outside. I'm going to keep watching it. You can watch it later - it's on freaking demand." 😂

So I kept watching and man! I really enjoyed the movie.
I thought the chemistry between Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn was great. When the two had their separate scenes - individually they were awesome. They had some intense moments.
I do wish we would have gotten more of Mr. Djimon Hounsou - he's a beast when he's on the screen.
I thought the story - the beginning - Day One of the invasion was hella cool. It was great seeing all the creatures - and I'm not going to lie - it was pretty cool seeing all the kills...they creatures went after EVERYTHING!!
All together - I really enjoyed A QUIET PLACE: DAY ONE...now, I need to watching A QUIET PLACE 2...hell, I might re-watch A QUIET PLACE first. 😂
