MLB Announces First Wave of Participants for the 2024 Celebrity Softball Game Presented by Corona

Hall of Famer Pedro Martínez Joins Softball Superstars Jennie Finch, Natasha Watley, and Lauren Gipson (Chamberlain) to Take the Field

Major League Baseball today announced the first wave of participants from music, stage, screen, and sports for the 2024 All-Star Celebrity Softball Game presented by Corona.


Among the lineup of celebs who are heading to Texas for this year’s game are actress Gina Rodriguez, Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernández, TV & radio personality Bobby Bones, reality-TV personalities West Wilson(Summer House) and Matt James (The Bachelor).

 

Country music star Kane Brown, musica Mexicana pioneers Payo Solis & Julian Peña Jr of Grupo Frontera, Latin music stars Eladio Carrion and Myke Towers, and producer Foreign Teck are all participating in this year’s game. Dude Perfect’s Tyler Toney and Garrett Hilbert, Nelson Vergara and Lucas Brody of the Broadcast Boys and influencers Dani Austin and Nicky Cass will also take the field.

 

Hall of Famer Pedro Martínez will be in the lineup along with NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, NBA All-Star Tyrese Maxey and softball legends Jennie Finch, Natasha Watley, and Lauren Gipson (Chamberlain).

 

Corona will also be returning as the presenting partner of the All-Star Celebrity Softball Game in 2024 as the Official Cerveza of Major League Baseball. In the brand’s third year as an MLB partner, Corona has continued to show fans the more playful and relaxed side of baseball and celebrate the rich Hispanic influence on the sport. The action takes place on Saturday, July 13 as part of All-Star Saturday festivities at Globe Life Field that begins with the 2024 All-Star Futures Game, featuring baseball’s top Minor League prospects and 2024 Hall of Fame electee Adrian Beltré and seven-time All-Star Michael Young as managers. Following the conclusion of the Futures Game will be the brand-new MLB Futures Skills Showcase. The hitting competition, which will feature three rounds of hitting challenges, is inspired by fan favorite baseball video games past and present. 

 

Single day tickets for All-Star Saturday on July 13th are now available at allstargame.com. Tickets for All-Star Saturday include access to all three events taking place at Globe Life Field, including the All-Star Futures Game, MLB Futures Skills Showcase and the All-Star Celebrity Softball Game. Gates open at 1:00 p.m. on All-Star Saturday. 

 

Tickets for All-Star Saturday, which are available now for as low as $35, can be purchased at AllStarGame.com. Tickets are also available for Capital One All-Star Village, MLB’s hallmark fan festival that transforms the iconic Choctaw Stadium and its surroundings into an MLB All-Star fan experience. Fans with tickets to All-Star Village on Saturday, July 13th, and All-Star Saturday on will be allowed reenter between the two venues.
