Legendary Hip Hop Icons, Joseph ‘Rev Run’ Simmons and Darryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels, Celebrate Their New Docuseries at The Times Center in New York City

New York, NY – Tonight, Saturday, January 27th, Peacock hosted a star-studded red carpet premiere event and screening for the new Peacock Original documentary series Kings From Queens: The RUN DMC Story at the Times Center in New York City. 

 

The premiere event kicked off with a pre-screening reception where VIP guests were greeted with RUN DMC inspired cocktails and light bites. To kick off the screening, Executive Producer William H. Masterson III shared heartfelt opening remarks before guests screened the first two parts of the new docuseries which debuts Feb 1 on Peacock. Following the exclusive screening, partygoers were drawn to the dance floor by DJ Chuck Chill Out who spun classic hip-hop tracks all night. 

Guests included iconic rappers and Executive Producers Joseph ‘Rev Run’ Simmons and Darryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels, Director Kirk Fraser, Executive Producers William H. Masterson III, Brian Hunt, Dan Goodman, Erik Blamoville and Michael Lehman. Special guests included doc subjects Bill Adler, Chuck D, Darryl McDaniels Jr., DJ Hurricane, and Pete Rock.
